Understanding Your Employees

Always take the time to research certain situations if you find that employees are going against email policies. Some families may very seldom see each other due to working opposite schedules and email may be the only way that they can stay in touch. Sit down and talk to the employee, and compromise on a schedule that suits both them and the corporate email policy. This will show the employee that you can have rules and policies but that you still care about their personal welfare as well. Monitoring email is very important to you as a business, but so are you employees; without them you have no business.
