1
Tip of the Week
"Cyberbullying involves the use of information and communication technologies such as e-mail, cell phone and pager text messages, instant messaging, to support deliberate, repeated, and hostile behavior by an individual or group that is intended to harm others."

Cyberbullying can take place through email, instant messages, text messages, Web logs (Blogs) and personal websites.
The victims of cyberbullying are often fearful of telling an adult about being cyberbullied for fear of losing their Internet privileges or the cellular phone.
Computer monitoring will help reduce the risk of cyberbullying and take away the fearfulness from children of having to tell an adult about such activity. Monitoring chat logs from instant messages, dialog in emails and content on web pages that your child is subject to can keep them safe from and assist in catching cyberbullies.
