Parent Tools is a great software application designed for parents to monitor and limit access with AOL Instant Messenger (AIM) and Yahoo Messenger. This software is designed specifically for chat monitoring therefore contains more specific limiting features. Some of these features include:

Limiting Total Time Chatting - set time limits based on screen names within the AIM or Yahoo Messenger. Give 5 minute or 1 minute warnings before users is logged off of chat programDisable Questionable Chat Rooms - Block out chat rooms with objectionable keywords or phrases. When a user tries to access these chat rooms they will receive a pop-up message stating that access to this particular chat room has been disabled.Disable Questionable IM and Chat Features - with this feature you are able to block out certain features that now come with AIM such as Direct Connect, Chat Invitation and the IM Chat feature which allows users to talk to each other.These are only but a few of the great features to help monitor and restrict access to potentially dangerous situations. The software has a free 10 day trial period for you to try out. After the 10 day trial period is up, you must purchase to software to continuing using it.
